As a benefit of your medical plan, you can access to Blue Cross of Idaho's WellConnected program. WellConnected is an interactive online program featuring a personal health assessment tool, an online health encyclopedia, comparison tools which allow you to compare drug costs and potential interactions, and many other features.

As a benefit of your medical plan, you can access discounts to fitness clubs, complimentary and alternative health, vision and hearing services, and so much more! - Smoking Cessation
Free tobacco cessation counseling is offered through the Idaho Quitline. For a $10 copayment, the program provides pharmaceutical quit aids to tobacco users who enroll in the program. - Weight Management
This program helps you to identify your target weight and provides access to several nationally-recognized weight loss programs that will assist you in achieving your weight loss objectives. - Population Health Management
The goal of Blue Cross of Idaho's Population Health Management program is to empower members and/or caregivers (following HIPAA regulations as a health plan), in concert with their physicians and other care providers, to effectively manage disease and prevent complications through adherence to medication regimens, regular monitoring of applicable labs/vital signs, a healthy diet, exercise, and other lifestyle choices. - Bright Beginnings
Bright Beginnings is a prenatal program designed to promote healthy prenatal care through education to expectant mothers. Blue Cross of Idaho offers this program to any employee, or their spouse, who is pregnant. Program members are provided with nutrition, exercise, prenatal care and child care information to help maintain a healthy pregnancy and to deliver a healthy baby. Upon successful program completion, the mother may choose to receive one of the following:- A $100 U.S. Savings Bond in the mother's name; or
- Reimbursement up to $50 toward the purchase of a car seat

- Capitol Mall Group Fitness
As part of the State's health promotion initiative, and as part of a project for the Certified Public Manager program, a group fitness space is now available to State employees in the basement of the JRW building (formerly the basement conference room). Capitol Mall Group Fitness provides State employees a location to participate in group fitness classes and a framework for starting up and sustaining these classes.
